These pictures are last years garden.....early Spring, I needed to see something growing and green.
Finally, we are having some decent weather. Today was in the high 70's...nice. I'm posting a picture taken of my flower garden in the front yard. This was just a few days ago, there is still snow out there but not this much. When my daughter was a little girl she and I would go on walks "looking for signs of Spring" anything green and growing counted. Well today I found several harbingers of Spring. My little Rose is Rose bush not only survived but has some new growth, a good sign, I'm hoping it survives .... and a Johnny Jump Up with its sweet little face poking up.
I literally forced these Forsythia to bloom here...these are at the foot of my claw foot bath tub and remind me that Spring is truly on its way.
Geraniums are one of my favorite annuals...just waiting to be put out in the garden.....
While waiting for the snow to go away I filled my time doing some crafts... I love making baskets...I'm thinking of going back into teaching the craft again, we'll see. Anyway, I made this basket, I call it my Peanut basket...what do you think? doesn't it look like a peanut.
Well that's all for this week...so
From My Porch to Yours....
Have a blessed week.
