This little dresser we found on the side of the road...yep, this young couple was emptying out the cabin they bought and didn't want any of the furniture that was left there. Well, I did...so Tim and I hauled this and a few other pieces home and this is how it looks now.
Tim took the front of the top drawer and put it on the bottom of the dresser to cover up the gap that was left when a piece broke off. I think that it looks like two pieces of furniture stacked up now. I really like the way this turned out.
This hall tree was made by Tim and painted by me...I went with the "French Country" look this time.
Can't tell you what the color is because I mixed two paints I had together to get this pale Robin egg blue...
This looks more like my sisters home, if she had room for it I would have offered it to her...
But, instead, it ended up in my booth at Morning Glory Mercantile, hope it sells quickly.
Finally, this primitive black tray, made from a drawer, would be great dressed up for Fall and placed on the table or side board.
This whole blog is about doing and re-doing...all of these items were destined for the land fill but we transformed them and now they are destined to be in someones home. I love that.
Well, that's all for now...
So from my porch to yours...
Have a blessed week
