ANTIQUES AND FOLK ART

Well this last weekend I went to the Antique and Folk Art Show in Breckenridge, Mi., what a great show, there must have been close to 80 booths and tons of people. I did manage to find a few treasures to add to my collections. Pictures in a later post.

Sense we're talking  Antiques & Folk Art shows I thought that this would be a great time to show a few of the pieces we have finished for our up coming  Antique & Folk Art Show.
This shelf has a lot of character it is painted in an old reddish brown and distressed  heavily ,would make a great addition to any home. There are five  old square nails to hang baskets, brooms or candles on.

Another shelf with lots of character and some of the small signs that add charm to shelves and cabinets.

Old clothes pins can add a bit of whimsy to the laundry area...decorating the laundry rooms makes doing laundry fun...well, not really but it makes it more interesting.

These little clay pot totes are adorable hanging on a peg or setting on a shelf or window ledge.
Little wall pocket full of fun stuff can hang on a peg  or door knob, cute on a door too.
Silver tray with creamer and cup, really, really cute. The picture frames  are message boards to be written on with dry erase pens...great way to say good morning.
.

Time in a bottle, or rather a jar.
This display rack comes with its' own peg rack to hang on, pewter in not included. Wood bowls would be nice in this rack too.
This is a brooding hen box, great in the kitchen to hold all sort of things also in the bathroom to hold pretty jars of salts and bath oil, candles and such.
Just one more little shelf, this one will fit into those small spaces and add special touch with a vine  or a candle.

Well that's all for this week, so...

From My Porch to Yours...

Have a blessed week.
