Good Intentions...

So, when I found this sweet little dresser I intended to do "my thing" to it and put it in the shop to sell. Well, while working on it I fell in love with it and decided to keep it. If I'm going to keep it, then something has to go. So, out with the big monster of a dresser that resided in our bedroom. sorry no pictures, but I do have pictures of part of it , will explain that later.

These sewing machine drawers were to be put in the shop also, but they were so darn cute with the dresser that they are now homesteading in the bedroom, also. I still have a few tweaks to do in there but here are a few pictures of the top and the wall behind the dresser.
A wooden bowl with pictures of the kids when they were young, still looking for pictures of  Tim and me when we were young, to add to the collection. I use this as a reminder throughout the day to pray for my kids and their families.
I love vintage children's clothes...this isn't really vintage it was my daughters and she isn't that old, but it fits in with the old stuff quite well.
The handkerchief in the picture above was my Mom's, I've placed some Lavender seeds in it and tied it with a ribbon, makes a nice little room freshener.

This is the drawer from the old dresser, I told you I would show you parts of the old.. Tim added shelves to both the drawers...

and my intention was to use them for display while waiting for them to sell...well that wait wasn't very long, they sold before I even got around to decorating them. Gotta love that.

Wait till you see what we do with the rest of the dresser.....

I just have to say, God has been so good, He has blessed my little venture in the most remarkable way and I'm excited to see what He has in store for me in the coming months.

Thanks for reading my post...that's all for now'''

So, from my porch to yours...

Have a blessed week.
