Changing seasons, changing time and changing my mind...

I know that it is Spring because my calendar  says it is. However, when I look out my window it seems like Winter. It has been snowing for the last few days and it isn't supposed to stop till sometime in the night. We probably have 6 to 8 inches of snow. I saw my first Robin just a few days ago I'm sure he's asking himself "Why did I come north so early?" He can't even find enough grasses and twigs to build a nest for his family. Oh well, on to other things.

I've got a few pictures to show you, we have been busy re-doing some pieces of furniture, and just about the time I get a few pieces done I sell something and have to take it to the shop and I don't have time to take pictures and blog about it. Mind you, I'm not complaining, I'm just explaining.

Well, these two pictures are of dresser with an added piece on top, it is actually an apple sorting bin, it was used in the barn and in the field to sort the large apples  from the small before they took them to the farmers market. We got two of them, the other one is in the shop and this one is going to stay with me. I love it, I'm going to use the bin for a shelf and have it mounted on the wall over the dresser.I will post pictures of that when the deed is done.

Just a couple of old hens looking for a warm place to roost... They will be roosting in my booth, come tomorrow.

This piece experienced some change too, we added the top shelf and made it a step back dresser, our version, at least.

And last but not least, my collection of alarm clocks got a new home, and no, I don't Spring forward and Fall back with them. So you see all of these pieces have or will undergo change, and as far as changing my mind, well that is still up in the air, I'm trying to decide if I want to continue with this Blog.  Face Book has made a few changes and it is difficult to link my Blog pictures up with FB...so I'm in a quandary, so to speak.

That's all for this time...

So from my porch to yours...

Have a blessed Spring...
